Richard and Susan Southards, a husband/wife team located in Pickerington, Ohio make up Creative Focus Photography. Susan, the photographer, studied portrait photography under Ron Kramer of House of Photography for 4 years. After several years doing portrait photography she became interested in showing pedigreed cats and eventually became a breeder of Maine Coon cats. Her love of photography and her love of cats seemed like a natural combination and led to her progression into the world of cat photography
Richard wears many different hats. He is the cat wrangler/handler, equipment hauler, transportation director and Susan's right arm. When he is not helping Susan, he is busy working his real "job" as an account manager with a food service company.
